Important Tools Used For Lobster Diving


Lobster diving is one of the most liked activities by the people in Florida. Generally in lobster diving, many tools are used to catch the lobster. In that certain important tools are used such as Tickle Sticks, Lobster nets& Tail Snares, Lobster Gloves, Lobster bags.


Tickle Sticks:
Tickle Sticks is one of the important tool used in lobster diving. The tickle stick is made up of rod and has a handle in it. The tickle stick plays a major role in catching the lobster. Initially when the diver goes inside the deep water, the first task for the diver is to locate the lobster in sea and then, after locating the lobster, the diver then use the tickle sticks to tap the lobster from backside. Lobster Nets & Tail Snares: 


Usually the lobster nets and tail snares are the main tools used to catch lobster. In lobster, there are two types in it. They are, square head lobster and round head lobster. When the lobster lays on the ground, the diver uses lobster net to catch it. But sometimes the lobster moves slowly in the water and suddenly it moves backward. So that by understanding the activities of the lobster, the diver selects any one of the required tool.

Lobster Gloves:
The lobster has five pairs of legs with claws, muscular tails in it. So, without the gloves the diver can get hurt while catching the lobster in deep sea. Therefore, the diver must wear lobster while going for lobster diving. The lobster gloves should be comfortable to wear and it should be made in such way that it can be used in water.

Lobster Bags: 

The lobsters that are caught by the diver are kept in the lobster bags. If you are buying lobster bag, check out whether the bag is made of high quality materials and strong enough to hold the lobster in it. This is because some lobsters will tear the lobster bag using it spines and escape into the sea. Moreover, it is also suggested to buy bags which are easy to open and close. So that, in the time of lobster diving, the diver can easily place the lobster inside lobster bag and close it immediately.
